Last week, we actually passed the truck as it was heading towards our house. I was upset. The 1 time it does pass our house we are not there.
Today, as we were turning on to our road the ice cream truck was in front of us!!! Brynn was very excited. I pulled over and Brynn and I got out to wait.
I explained to her again how it worked. You know. . .you pick an ice cream of the side, give the driver your money, and get your ice cream.
She picked a Dora ice cream because she LOOOOVES Dora ice cream! Her words not mine
It was banana and strawberry flavored with 2 gumballs for eyes. She said it was yummy and kept offering it to me. I had to pass. I am not a fan of banana.
I asked the driver if he would start coming down our road a little farther from now on and he said yes!

I am so jealous. The kids and I hear it everyday in our neighborhood but it never comes down our street. The other day I thought I heard it coming so I got them to wait and wait and it turned before it got to us. How disappointing. You do give me hope that maybe one day it will come by our house, but we will probably no be here.
You almost have to track it down and ask. The driver told me he came down our street for a week and only had 2 people so it wasn't worth it. So hopefully he keeps coming far enough down. If he does stop again, I'll tell him to go down your road!

How cute! I love the ice cream truck, but we, too, never actually see it. It's so disappointing to hear it and never see it! We always get ice cream truck ice creams at the Greenville Zoo though, and whaddya know...Livi gets Dora too! Great pictures!
